Experienced Short-Term Rental Customer Service Representative – Airbnb, VRBO, and OwnerRez

Job Summary:
As an Experienced Short-Term Rental Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests across various platforms, including Airbnb, VRBO, and OwnerRez. Your primary focus will be on responding to guest inquiries, documenting interactions, and collaborating with our team to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to guest inquiries and questions within 15 minutes with 95% accuracy and within an hour with 100% accuracy, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Utilize Airbnb, VRBO, and OwnerRez (or OwnerRez when available) to respond to guest inquiries sent through these platforms
- For inquiries sent through our website, respond with pricing and schedule a call with either Gerry or Nicole for further questions
- Document each inquiry and response in an Excel spreadsheet, tracking guest data and conversion rates across all platforms
- Screen and schedule guest and prospective guest phone calls for Gerry and Nicole, avoiding unnecessary phone calls whenever possible
- Respond to voicemails and address guest requests via text, email, or messaging, notifying Gerry or Nicole when a phone call is necessary
- Conduct guest vetting to ensure proper booking procedures, flagging guests with low review scores, event requests, or other red flags for approval from Gerry or Nicole
- Collaborate with Gerry and Nicole to create cleaning and maintenance protocols, ensuring all team members are aware of cleaning status and can deploy maintenance staff as needed
- Update calendars and perform recurring tasks to improve search rankings and drive business growth
Essential Qualifications:
* 1+ year of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a remote team environment with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in responding to guest inquiries
- Proficiency in using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with Airbnb, VRBO, and OwnerRez platforms (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the short-term rental industry or a related field
- Knowledge of guest vetting procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with cleaning and maintenance protocols
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Certification in customer service or a related field
