Key Responsibilities
As a Property Coordinator/Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry
- Checking source documents for accuracy and verifying/correcting data where necessary
- Transcribing information into required electronic formats
- Checking completed work for accuracy and responding to requests for information and accessing relevant files
- Entering data from source documents into prescribed computer databases, files, and forms
- Performing other duties as required
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Two (2) years of courses in a designated field or trade school, and three (3) years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Basic knowledge of proper office procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic mathematical skills
- Ability to plan and work selecting proper tools and compare/understand differences in size, shape, and form
- Familiarity with written and oral directions, plans, and blueprints
- Ability to recognize and report safety hazards
- Understanding of inventory processes
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will be beneficial:
- Two (2) years of college courses in a related field, plus four (4) years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience for a total of six (6) years
- Familiarity with MAXIMO and Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of government property processes and recordkeeping
- Receiving and inspection experience
