Our AWS Organization Money and Information Move Information Designing group is at the forefront of this revolution, providing a unified data platform for AWS Money (supporting AWS Systems administration, AWS CloudFront, AWS Direct Interface) with a deep understanding of our clients' needs and expenses. Our team tackles the toughest challenges in data flexibility, execution, and distributed computing, processing massive amounts of data and providing tools for clients to intuitively understand the vast amounts of information we store.

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll design and develop complex data architectures and business intelligence applications using the AWS big data stack. You'll have a deep understanding of working with massive datasets, data visualization, building complex data pipelines, execution tuning, and bringing data from disparate data stores and automatically recognizing patterns.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and support data warehouse/data lake frameworks using the AWS big data stack, Python, Redshift, QuickSight, Paste/lake arrangement, EMR/Flash, Athena, and more.

  • Create and manage ETLs to source data from various financial, AWS organizing, and functional systems and create a unified data model for analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and support real-time data pipelines based on AWS advancements, including EMR, Paste, Redshift/Range, and Athena.
  • Collaborate with other Designing groups, Product/Money Chiefs/Examiners to execute advanced analysis calculations that exploit our rich datasets for financial model development, statistical analysis, prediction, and more.
  • Continuously explore the latest big data and perception advancements to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency.
  • Use business intelligence and perception software (e.g., QuickSight) to develop dashboards used by senior authorities.
  • Enable technical and non-technical, internal clients to drive their own analysis and reporting (self-serve reporting) and support ad-hoc reporting when required.
  • Work closely with colleagues to drive continuous model executions for monitoring and warning of risk systems.
  • Manage multiple demands simultaneously and decisively, prioritizing when necessary.
  • Collaborate across groups/jobs to deliver results.
  • Coach other architects, impact positively group culture, and assist with growing the team.

Essential Capabilities

* 3+ years of data engineering experience

  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with SQL
  • Four-year degree in software engineering, designing, analysis, math, statistics, IT, or similar
  • Experience of designing and developing data engineering frameworks from the ground up and maintaining/supporting existing frameworks.
  • Experience in managing massive and complex datasets and execution tuning
  • Capability in one of the pre-arranging languages - Python, Ruby, or similar
  • Experience working with massive data warehouses or data lakes
  • Experience in designing data models that support structured and unstructured data
  • Experience in gathering requirements and designing business metrics for reporting
  • Ability to manage ambiguities and competing needs.

Preferred Capabilities

* Experience with AWS advancements like Redshift, S3, AWS Paste, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM jobs and permissions

  • Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, report or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
  • Graduate degree in software engineering, designing, analysis, arithmetic, measurements, IT, or similar
  • Related knowledge in programming using Python

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of living across various US geographic markets. The base compensation for this position ranges from $35,000 to $40,000 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600 per year in our highest geographic market. Compensation depends on various factors, including market area and may vary based on work-related information, skills, and experience. arenaflex is a total compensation organization. Depending on the position offered, value, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a comprehensive compensation package, in addition to a full range of clinical, financial, and other benefits.
