Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our data engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based data solutions and analytics platforms that drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data solutions and analytics platforms using SQL, Snowflake, and Python
- Work closely with data warehouse planners and software developers to create seamless business intelligence and reporting solutions for end-users
- Use SQL, Snowflake, and Python to provide break-fix support for production data solutions and ensure the ongoing functionality of our systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs and drive growth
- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes using ETL, data governance, and data quality best practices
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions that meet their needs
- Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models and drive business growth through data-driven insights
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
- Strong experience with SQL, Snowflake, and Python
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and data governance
- Strong understanding of data quality, data security, and data compliance
