Responsibilities
As a Retail Customer Service Expert, you'll be responsible for:
- Connecting with customers via phone, email, chat, social media, and other communication channels to resolve their questions or concerns
- Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, providing a positive and empathetic experience for our customers
- Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
- Responding to requests for assistance and/or processing payments in a timely and efficient manner
- Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, ensuring that our team is meeting our high standards for customer satisfaction
- Providing feedback on call issues, helping us to identify areas for improvement and optimize our customer service processes
- Upselling when required, ensuring that our customers are aware of the full range of products and services available to them
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- The ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
- At least 6 months of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- To be over 18 years of age, with a high school graduate or GED equivalent
- The ability to type 25 words per minute, with strong keyboarding skills
- A comfort level with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems
- Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
- Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Nice-to-Haves

- Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
- Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
