Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a key member of our commercial lines team, you'll be responsible for managing a large book of business, providing top-notch customer service, and ensuring seamless policy administration. Key Responsibilities
As a Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing a large, established book of business, including commercial lines insurance coverages
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely communication
- Reviewing insurance contracts for inaccuracies and processing endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing
- Completing and preparing certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews
- Checking policy coverage and endorsements on all new business and renewals
- Working independently or as part of a team to achieve business objectives
- Directly responsible for the retention of all accounts assigned to the team
- Applying problem-solving techniques to various issues concerning cancellations, claims, renewal issues, audits, receivables, and carrier issues
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An active Property and Casualty (P&C) license
- Above-average computer skills, with the ability to become proficient in various needed programs
- Prior experience in a client-facing role, preferably in the insurance industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Experience with various insurance products and maintaining client relationships
- Familiarity with commercial lines insurance coverages, including admitted and non-admitted carriers
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with policy administration software and other relevant systems
