Job Responsibilities
As a Commercial Chat Service Trainee, you'll be responsible for:
- Receiving, investigating, and resolving all customer inquiries timely and accurately
- Handling customer inquiries and problems via multiple channels, including chat, telephone calls, emails, and written correspondence
- Ensuring all customer communication is professional, grammatically correct, and clearly documented
- Educating customers to ensure resolution is achieved on first contact
- Passing required testing to demonstrate your expertise and knowledge
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a customer service support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to talk and type simultaneously in a clear and concise manner while interacting with customers
- Ability to write simple and complex correspondence
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience in the health insurance industry or a related field
- Knowledge of Commercial group and Individual (ON/OFF Marketplace) Medical policies
- Familiarity with Dental line of business
- Certification in customer service or a related field
