Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams, as well as external partners, to ensure seamless execution of transactions and resolution of complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents

  • Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
  • Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new innovation enhancements and provider modifications
  • Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
  • Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
  • Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes

Duties Analysis

* Review subscription deals or transfer requests

  • Identify and address Client/Advisor account exceptions
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
  • Resolve discrepancies between BOS and Fund Companies
  • Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors
  • Troubleshoot internal/external system issues or concerns
  • Identify root causes of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
  • Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
  • Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
  • Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite customer demand or remediate not neat issues
  • Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 0-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the financial services industry

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in a related field (e.g., CFP, CFA)
