Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, reviewing data for errors, and maintaining logs of activities and completed work. If you're a detail-oriented individual with excellent data entry skills and a passion for data remediation, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Entering alphanumeric data from raw data into our systems
• Comparing data with source documents to detect errors and re-entering data in verification format as needed
• Compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before it's entered
• Utilizing Excel for data remediation and data analysis
• Locating and correcting data entry errors, or reporting them to supervisors
• Maintaining logs of activities and completed work
• Reading source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and entering data in specific data fields
• Meeting heavy production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Data Entry: You'll need to have excellent data entry skills, including the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems.
• Data Collection: You'll need to be able to collect and review data from various sources, including source documents and databases.
• Excel: You'll need to be proficient in Excel and able to utilize it for data remediation and data analysis.
• Data Remediation: You'll need to have experience with data remediation, including the ability to detect and correct errors.
• 10-key skills: While not required, 10-key skills are a plus in this role.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and database software: You'll need to be familiar with spreadsheets and database software, including Excel and other data management tools.
• Attention to detail: You'll need to have a high level of attention to detail and be able to maintain accuracy and quality in your work.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:

• Years of experience: 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
• Experience level: Experienced data entry professional with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency
• Education: No degree required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Certifications: Certifications in data entry, data remediation, or a related field are a plus
• Experience with data management software: Experience with data management software, including Excel and other data management tools, is a plus
