Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Order Entry at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by phone and email, processing orders accurately and efficiently, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with our sales team to ensure that customer needs are met, and our customers receive the highest level of support and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

* Process orders accurately and efficiently, including standard items, blanket orders, test orders, and promotional items

• Identify discrepancies/exceptions and correspond with appropriate person(s) to reach acceptable resolution
• File purchase order and related correspondence/information in documentation folder
• Answer incoming phone and email information requests, including checking item number, price, availability, order status, providing shipment information, and expediting back orders
• Order maintenance and changes as requested/required, and add related correspondence/documentation to order folder
• Perform other duties as requested

Job Requirements: Work Experience, Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* High school diploma or equivalent

• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills
• Dependable and committed to scheduled adherence expectations
• Possess deductive reasoning skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relations

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in a customer service or order entry role

• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Basic knowledge of metalworking industry and products

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment

• Knowledge of precision carbide metalworking tools and industry
• Certification in customer service or a related field
