Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing customer inquiries, and driving repeat business through building strong relationships with our customers. You'll work closely with our Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction, and you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales) while influencing arenaflex's gross profit through negotiating sale prices and purchase prices within certain parameters.
  • Build customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and driving process improvements.
  • Order items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers, and determine the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders.
  • Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction, and expedites backorders as needed.
  • May handle customer returns, and performs other duties as assigned.
  • May place orders without approval for orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order.
  • Responsible for sourcing products in branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, using business systems, and searching capabilities to find products on the internet.
  • Product knowledge is preferred.

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a sales or service environment.

  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
