Job Summary
As a Customer Advocate I at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional member experience by responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. Under supervision, you'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, conducting research, and providing solutions to our members and physicians. Key Responsibilities
* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
- Conduct research to resolve member inquiries and provide solutions
- Spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs
- Sit for long periods with scheduled breaks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve member experience
- Develop and maintain knowledge of arenaflex products, services, and policies
- Meet productivity and quality standards, as measured by key performance indicators (KPIs)
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
- Data entry and/or typing experience
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs
Preferred Qualifications
* 9 months of customer service experience
- Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria
