Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service & Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance to drive sales growth. You'll learn about our products and services, using our tools to provide information and recommendations to customers. Your goal will be to greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance

  • Learn about products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to drive sales growth
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
  • Participate in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales growth and customer engagement

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or similar environment

  • Experience working in a sales-driven environment
  • Knowledge of building materials, tools, or other products related to our industry
  • Certification in customer service or sales (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
