Experienced Community Relations Assistant – Local Area Engagement and Social Responsibility

About the Position
arenaflex is looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to provide administrative support to our Local Area Relations team. As a Community Relations Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our social responsibility goals and community engagement objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Local Area Relations team, including coordinating game day communications and planned operations, managing gift process, and handling Fighters Locally publications and social media channels.
- Managing the division's receipt entries and handling, maintaining departmental schedules, and processing office requests and public demands.
- Ensuring the Fighters Community Relations website is updated regularly and as soon as possible.
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal clients and representing the organization to external crowds.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Community Relations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Local Area Relations team with daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Coordinate game day communications and planned operations, including correspondence with external groups and ticket distribution.
- Manage the gift process, including admission, inventory, and storage.
- Handle the Fighters Locally publication and association communications.
- Manage the Fighters Locally social media channels.
- Manage the division's receipt entries and handling.
- Maintain departmental schedules.
- Process office requests and channel public demands.
- Ensure the Fighters Community Relations website is updated regularly and as soon as possible.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal clients and represent the organization to external crowds.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Community Relations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in community issues, cause marketing, and corporate social responsibility; 1 year of regulatory or project/occasion management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; preference for individuals with experience in Agree, Coupa, and Salesforce.
- Advanced, web-based entertainment and traditional marketing skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen; ability to build positive working relationships with representatives at all levels within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
* Experience working in the entertainment industry or a related field.
- Knowledge of local area relations and community engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing tools.
- Experience with event planning and execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
