The Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering (DE) team, which is responsible for developing and sustaining data pipelines and datasets for our Media business. As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you'll work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues on various projects, including data pipeline development, data set design, and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain data pipelines and datasets for our Media business, utilizing various tools and technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
• Work on data pipeline development, data set design, and data visualization, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and security.
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to streamline data processing and delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker, GitLab, and cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS.
• Strong understanding of data set design and data visualization principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.

• Proficiency in cloud design and product development, with experience working with AWS.
• Experience managing and delivering code using a source control tool like GitLab or GitHub.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
