Key Responsibilities:

* Help the Division deliver on its sales targets, including the new business component, by maintaining active communication with customers about new product launches, services, supplies, and sales promotions.

  • Provide exceptional customer service through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and emails, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported.
  • Execute all aspects of the sales function, including order processing, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications as needed, demonstrating your expertise and knowledge of our products.
  • Obtain and monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery, and expedite as necessary, coordinating with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing timely and accurate product and technical information, educating customers about product terminology, features, and benefits.
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service.
  • Assist customers with warranties and returns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to determine the best methods for resolving problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
  • Train new customer service/inside sales representatives, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them succeed.
  • Periodically reach out to customers to determine their satisfaction with our organization, products, and services, gathering valuable feedback to improve our offerings.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities, providing insights and data to inform business decisions.
  • Expand your knowledge of HVAC products and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, ensuring that you're always equipped to provide expert advice and guidance.

Essential Qualifications:

* 6+ years of progressive sales experience, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, with some college preferred. HVAC certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or engineering.

  • Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a strong focus on building relationships and driving sales growth.
  • Familiarity with HVAC products and services, including knowledge of industry trends and developments.

Skills and Competencies:

* Extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment and products, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely.

  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle difficult customers and resolve issues promptly.
  • Strong phone etiquette and email communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume customer traffic and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
