Experienced Customer Service Representative for Tax Season - US Remote Opportunity

As an independent contractor on our Agents Only Platform, you'll have the flexibility to create your own schedule while delivering outstanding support to our tax-related products and services.

The Opportunity
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in supporting our customers during the busiest time of the year. With a pay-per-performance model, you'll have the potential to earn an average of $17 per hour, with top performers in the top 10% making up to $22 per hour. To qualify for our Tax Bonus and training incentives, you'll need to be available on Tax Day, Tuesday, April 15, 2024.
Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing courteous and efficient customer support via phone (inbound call) during the busy tax season, with some cases of on Video support (less than 15%)
- Answering questions regarding tax filing, products, services, and account information
- Assisting customers in troubleshooting issues related to their tax filings or software
- Documenting and tracking customer interactions and issues in our support system
- Meeting performance targets related to customer satisfaction, response time, and first-call resolution
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude even during high-demand periods
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:
- Reliability and dependability, especially during high-demand periods leading up to and after Tax Day
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Comfortable working independently in a remote work environment
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Ability to stay calm and collected when dealing with customers who may be experiencing stress
- Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to commit to working during the tax season peak periods (February through April)
