We're responsible for the entire subscriber journey, from sign-up to personalized content recommendations on various devices. The Revelation Group at arenaflex

The Revelation Group is a sub-group within the CEX team, focused on transforming content discovery. We aim to provide subscribers with an instinctive and personalized experience, enabling them to explore and engage with content that resonates with their interests. By collaborating with engineers, data scientists, architects, and product managers, we develop and refine calculations and recommendation systems that deliver vivid content discovery experiences.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of entertainment technology. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a technical lead for groups within the Revelation contract, ensuring the quality of engineering and design of frameworks
• Breaking down complex issues into simple, straightforward solutions, and fostering technical guides, framing future directions, and arranging technological advancements
• Analyzing and improving data quality and metrics, and understanding framework interdependencies and constraints
• Applying technical expertise to inform design decisions, leveraging internal and industry knowledge to drive innovation
• Coaching and mentoring 50+ colleagues, sharing your expertise and experience to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness
• Providing technical guidance across backend, frontend, and ML technologies, and driving professional development through cutting-edge technical matters

Essential Qualifications and Characteristics

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• At least 4+ years of experience building large-scale mobile frameworks
• Strong foundation with hands-on experience as a High-level programming development engineer
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems, datastores (SQL, NoSQL), and the ability to choose the right technology based on requirements
• Strong understanding of data designs, calculations, and planning for execution
• Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide technical direction across multiple technologies
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, achieving stretch objectives
• Sound business judgment, demonstrated ability to influence others, and strong analytical reasoning skills
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers to progress

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

While not required, the following qualifications and experience will be highly valued:

• Tech/B.E/Bosses or a similar degree from a reputable institution
• At least 13 years of professional experience as a backend/full stack engineer with hands-on experience building highly scalable and performant distributed frameworks
• Any experience with ML, data science, or search in B2C (e-commerce, OTT) is a plus
