Job Summary

As a Remote Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customer information into our customer information system and other Public Works software. This role requires excellent judgment, independent thinking, and personal initiative, as you'll work independently to establish and maintain utility accounts, verify account eligibility, and prepare work orders. Key Responsibilities

* Establishes and maintains utility accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information

  • Verifies account eligibility and accessibility, ensuring compliance with arenaflex policies and procedures
  • Prepares, distributes, and completes work orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Prepares files for mass customer communications, including mailings and notifications
  • Assists with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house
  • Scans or retains documents, maintaining accurate and organized records
  • Performs monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Enters data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, supporting the Customer Service Division and driving business success

Essential Qualifications

* Education: High School Diploma or acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)

  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
  • Licenses or Certifications: None specified
  • Special Requirements: Must pass computer skills, typing, and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration

* Education: Associates degree in business administration, data entry, or related fields

  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
  • Special Requirements: Must pass computer skills, typing, and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration

* Excellent data entry skills, with high accuracy and speed

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Public Works software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality
