Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues by offering solutions, explanations, and options
- Selling various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of insurance companies
- Providing customers with information about products or services, ensuring full customer satisfaction and maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor
- Ensuring that policy requirements are fulfilled, including necessary medical statements, inspections forms, and the completion of appropriate forms, photographs
- Customizing insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks
- Analyzing clients' current insurance policies and suggesting additions or changes
- Identifying and prioritizing problems and issues related to service area
- Maintaining close contact with customers to give updates on progress toward resolution of issue or service request
- Ensuring that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems
- Referring unresolved customer issues to designated departments for further investigation, including contacting underwriting departments
- Performing administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals
- Processing applications, releases, cancellations, adjustments, changes, requests, fees, invoices, and other related paperwork
- Keeping records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
- Seeking out new clients and developing clientele by networking
- Calling potential clients to expand customer base
- Attending meetings, webinars to learn about new products and services, new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of professionalism and customer service
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Fluency in multiple languages (English and Spanish required, additional languages a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in insurance sales or customer service
- Experience with insurance software and systems
- Certification in insurance sales or customer service (e.g. CPCU, CIC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services a plus
