Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Performing alphanumeric entry from raw data with high accuracy and efficiency
• Comparing data with source documents, or re-entering data in verification format to detect errors
• Compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before it is entered
• Utilizing Excel for data remediation, including data cleaning, formatting, and analysis
• Locating and correcting data entry errors, or reporting them to supervisors
• Maintaining logs of activities and completed work to ensure transparency and accountability
• Reading source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and entering data in specific data fields
• Meeting heavy production targets while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
• Possessing strong 10-key skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and database software

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience in data entry, data collection, or a related field
• Proven expertise in Excel, including data cleaning, formatting, and analysis
• Strong data remediation skills, including data cleaning, formatting, and analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and database software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications
