Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Health Insurance Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting the success of arenaflex's health insurance operations. Your primary responsibilities will include researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries, as well as performing data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail. You will work closely with our customer service team to ensure that all customer interactions are prompt, accurate, and objective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure that all customer interactions are prompt, accurate, and objective
  • Evaluate customer situations, make decisions, and respond quickly to questions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and data entry activities
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED

  • 1 year of customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* 1 year of customer service experience

  • 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Skills and Competencies

* Strong computer skills, including navigation in Outlook and general computer knowledge

  • Excellent data entry and typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
