What You'll Do
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our veterinary facilities and clients by:
- Connecting with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and clarify order requests
- Conducting thorough examinations and issue resolution to determine proper solutions for clients and partners, and following up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
- Completing accurate and efficient data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex's healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Working with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
- Demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow with our team, sharing feedback, and embracing a culture of continuous improvement
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (and occasionally other channels) to discuss various topics, primarily using our internal software and systems to explore solutions and record case notes
- Expecting a significant portion of the typical business day to involve outbound veterinary center/client telephone contacts
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience working in a client- or healthcare-focused environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- Strong ownership and self-motivation, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically, Outlook)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (if required)
- Strong decision-making skills
- Proven ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and adjust your schedule as needed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Passing background check and historical verification
