As a Customer Advocate I at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in assisting members and physicians by responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. You'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, conducting research, and utilizing your exceptional communication skills to resolve issues and provide solutions. With a strong focus on member satisfaction, you'll be empowered to make a real difference in the lives of our members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
- Conduct research to resolve issues and provide solutions
- Utilize strong communication skills to build rapport with members and physicians
- Work independently to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions
- Spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and well-being
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve member experiences
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
- Data entry and/or typing experience
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and well-being
Preferred Qualifications:
* 9 months of customer service experience
- Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria

- Proficiency in data entry and typing
