Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests from our clients, providing technical and emergency damage prevention services. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that all calls are handled efficiently and effectively, and that our clients receive the highest level of service. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators, and follow scripted questions to obtain necessary information

  • Enter data into a ticket format, using a mapping system similar to Google Maps to identify work sites
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times, ensuring that clients are satisfied with their experience
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Process information quickly and accurately, using outlined criteria
  • Accurately read digital maps and provide clear instructions to clients
  • Demonstrate an interest in public safety and understand the importance of our work
  • Work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to listen and problem-solve effectively
  • General computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Maps
  • Ability to adhere to a work schedule, including good attendance and punctuality
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to work overtime based on business needs
  • Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
  • Must pass a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment

  • Experience working with mapping systems and data entry software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic knowledge of public safety and damage prevention principles
