About the Role
As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading our AWS IT Services Support team, providing highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide. You'll manage local and/or remote resources, assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience, and own the strategies to create that experience. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and leveraging our knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, identifying ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage local and/or remote resources to provide highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide
- Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
- Develop and leverage our knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
- Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
- Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
- Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
Essential Qualifications:
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
- 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
- Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with AWS IT Services Support
- Proven track record of driving innovation and process improvement
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
