Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and mentor a team of Lead and Senior designers to deliver high-quality customer experiences

• Develop and implement strategies to drive innovation and growth in the self-service engineering space
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing, to develop and execute product vision and roadmaps
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation, driving the development of new technologies and solutions
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial and resource plan for the self-service engineering team
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional results
• Drive the development of strategies, policies, and procedures for building and supporting IT products
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for arenaflex to innovate and stay ahead of the competition

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring high-performing teams
• Strong technical skills, including Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS
• Experience with distributed computing, including Sky blue, GCP, or AWS
• Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, with a valid passport and ability to travel throughout the US
• Ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response without prior notice
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Eligibility to work in the US, with no visa sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience managing a budget and leading a full project or initiative, including presenting recommendations to senior leadership

• In-depth knowledge of business capabilities and careful knowledge of business activities, targets, and methodologies
• Familiarity with JetBlue's IT disciplines and interdependencies, and how they drive IT strategy
• Strong understanding of business acumen and ability to drive business growth and innovation

Crewmember Assumptions:

* Regular attendance and reliability

• Ability to work flexible hours and be available to respond without prior notice
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance while working or traveling on JetBlue flights
• Willingness to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft while time allows
• Ability to fit into the JetBlue culture, or at least demonstrate the JetBlue values of Safety, Mindfulness, Respect, Enthusiasm, and Fun
• Ability to satisfy security responsibilities as outlined by JetBlue's Health Management Framework

Reporting Safety or Security Concerns:

* Identify any health or safety concerns, issues, incidents, or risks that should be reported and report them immediately and without hesitation using JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Health Activity Program (AHAP) and Health Activity Report (SAR))

Compliance with Regulations and Policies:

* Comply with all relevant regulations, guidelines (FAA, OSHA, DAB, etc.), and organizational strategies, systems, and risk controls

• Maintain JetBlue's health performance metric objectives and understand how they relate to their responsibilities and obligations
