Key Responsibilities

As a Part Time Seasonal Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers at the Ticket & Gate. Your primary duties will include:

Ticket Agent:

+ Greet customers and guide them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process + Use a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets + Manage the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel + Tag baggage and perform lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts + Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

Gate Agent:

+ Assist customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding + Use computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements, flight status, checking, and handling baggage + Operate jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors + Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Safety and Security:

Age:

Be at least 18 years old.

Physical Ability:

Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds.

Language Skills:

Be fluent in English (written and oral) and Spanish (written and oral).

Computer Skills:

Possess entry-level computer skills.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation.

Availability:

Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Previous Customer Service Experience:

Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the airline industry.

Language Skills:

Fluency in multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
