Job Summary
We're seeking a part-time Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team, working 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, verifying customs documentation, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency
- Understand and identify customs documentation, including customs declarations and other relevant documents
- Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system, ensuring the build of a valid customs declaration
- Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, adhering to all relevant regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Daily execution of workflow and department metrics, contributing to the team's overall success
Qualifications
* Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, logistics, business administration)
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with high accuracy rates, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
