Job Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative Trainee, you'll be responsible for:
- Receiving, investigating, and resolving all customer inquiries timely and accurately
- Handling customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone, chat, email, and TEAMS
- Ensuring all customer communication is clearly documented
- Educating callers to ensure resolution is achieved on first contact
- Participating in required testing and training programs
- Working independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Adhering to assigned schedules and working overtime as required
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a customer service support role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Independent, sound decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to talk and type simultaneously in a clear and concise manner while interacting with customers
Training and Development
As a Customer Service Representative Trainee, you'll participate in a comprehensive 12-14 week training program, which includes:
- Classroom instruction and hands-on training
- On-site training sessions for the first half of the program
- Multiple on-site training sessions for the last half of the program
- Ongoing coaching and feedback from experienced trainers and mentors
Work Environment and Schedule
After completing the training program, you'll work in a weekly rotating shift, which may include:
- Working as early as 8:00 AM EST or as late as 9:00 PM EST
- Rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Working from home or in our office, depending on the needs of the business
