Experienced Medical Data Entry Specialist – Healthcare Database Management and Customer Service

Job Summary:
As a Medical Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining our healthcare databases, reconciling census and lead information, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our databases are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:
* Update and maintain healthcare databases within assigned markets, ensuring accuracy and integrity of customer and account information
- Reconcile incoming census and request new lead information to ensure seamless communication with clients
- Enter new admissions into the CRM system and set them up as an account, ensuring timely and accurate data entry
- Send and receive mail and packages, update returned mail, and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Update parent/home accounts with death and discharges, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
- Send and receive faxes and emails, maintaining a high level of professionalism and communication
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com
- 1-3 years of customer service experience with a service company preferred; experience in healthcare or a related field a plus
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly to customer needs and requests
- Strong reconciliation skills, with the ability to reconcile from different sources to get an accurate picture
- Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently
- Quality control and attention to detail, with the ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in data entry and customer service
- Adaptability, with the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands
- Dependability, with a strong commitment to being consistently at work and on time, following instructions, and soliciting feedback to improve performance
