Job Summary
As a Customer Engineer, you'll be part of a diverse team of talented professionals working together to drive customer success. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with technical Sales teams to differentiate arenaflex's offerings to customers
- Developing cloud solutions and architectures to solve business challenges
- Engaging with customers to understand their business and technical requirements
- Presenting solutions on arenaflex's cloud platform
- Troubleshooting technical questions and roadblocks
- Collaborating with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption
- Demonstrating and prototyping integrations in customer and partner environments
- Guiding customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments and providing recommendations on prioritization roadmaps for infrastructure and application modernization
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers
- Share enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to arenaflex
- Work with arenaflex products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments
- Guide customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments and provide recommendations on a prioritization roadmap for infrastructure and application modernization
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution on arenaflex
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
- Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, on-premise infrastructure engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in migrating applications and services to cloud platforms
- Experience with security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and penetration testing
- Experience with networking concepts such as software-defined networking, routing, virtual private networks, load balancers, and firewalls
- Experience prospecting, and building and maintaining customer relationships, along with building Greenfield territories in Enterprise accounts
- Ability to travel 25% of the time

Compensation and Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
