Prime Contractor Supply Corporation is a leading supplier of underground water supply and stormwater drainage products. We serve major civil contractors and infrastructure projects with precision, reliability, and efficiency. Our culture is rooted in accountability, care, and motivation — and we are now looking for an elite Operations Manager to drive our logistics and operations to the next level. This position is remote but only open to English speaking candidates based in the United Kingdom or South Africa. Role Overview As the Operations Manager, you will be the central coordinator of our supply chain — overseeing logistics, inventory, customer communication, vendor and carrier management. This is a remote role, open to candidates based in:

  • United Kingdom
  • South Africa
  • South America (Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, etc. — fluent English required)
  • Philippines (night shift, aligned with US business hours, excellent English required)

You will thrive in a high-pressure environment, solving problems in real-time and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and to high standards. Core Responsibilities Logistics & Supply Chain Management: Oversee and coordinate transportation, scheduling, and delivery of products to meet customer deadlines. Inventory Oversight: Track inventory levels, anticipate needs, and ensure alignment with customer demand and vendor capacity. Vendor & Carrier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party carriers, ensuring commitments are met and issues are resolved quickly. Customer Communication: Act as the primary liaison for customer updates, managing expectations and providing timely solutions. Technology & Systems: Use project management and ERP systems to plan, track, and report on operations. Optimize workflows through tech platforms. Problem Solving: Identify issues before they escalate, develop solutions under pressure, and keep projects on track. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor KPIs, operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Significant experience in logistics, supply chain, and inventory management (non-negotiable). Strong track record managing complex operations under high-pressure conditions. Excellent, well-spoken English communication skills (both verbal and written). Proven ability to work directly with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers. Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, project management, and collaboration tools. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and adapt quickly. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a US-based team across time zones. Preferred but not required: Industry knowledge in construction supply, civil infrastructure, or related fields.

Compensation

  • UK: $45–65/hr
  • South Africa: $40–50/hr
  • South America: $35–50/hr
  • Philippines (night-shift): $18–25/hr
  • Paid hourly via Upwork, approx. 20 hrs/week to start, with potential for growth into more hours and long-term engagement.
