VP, Regional Leader – Spend Management Services
Job Description:
- Lead, coach, and develop Account Management teams and cross-functional resources.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to client executive leadership, driving strategy that increases client engagement.
- Lead and manage client P&L performance, ensuring revenue growth and margin.
- Represent Vizient with credibility and authority at the executive level.
- Translate complex spend, utilization, and performance analytics into clear narratives that influence decision-making.
- Partner closely with Enterprise Account Management, acting as a voice of the client.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare supply chain and spend management, including direct experience within provider organizations and/or leading complex provider-based supply chain functions.
- Demonstrated success leading large, geographically dispersed high-performing teams with P&L accountability.
- Proven experience working with executive and C-suite leaders in complex health systems, influencing decision-making, and navigating executive dynamics.
- Documented track record of results, evidenced by clear, quantifiable outcomes.
- Deep understanding of healthcare supply chain operations and how sourcing and spend strategies translate into operational, clinical, and financial outcomes.
- Strong track record of developing leaders and building high-performing teams through clear expectations, accountability, feedback, and succession planning.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, healthcare economics, and value-based decision-making.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders through credibility, sound judgment, and trusted advisory leadership.
- Skilled in complex, high-value negotiations.
- Ability to listen deeply to provider needs, synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative inputs, and translate data into clear, persuasive executive-level narratives.
