Experienced Specimen Accessioner/Data Entry Specialist – Healthcare Laboratory Support

This is a contractual role with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time.

Schedule:

Our ideal candidate will work a unique schedule that includes: - Tuesday to Friday: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm - Saturday: 7:15 am - 3:45 pm

Compensation:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18-$22 per hour, based on experience, expertise, and education.

Job Summary:

As a Specimen Accessioner/Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations. Your primary responsibilities will include specimen receiving and sorting, collecting samples for testing, providing lab support, and performing accurate data entry of samples. Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and sort specimens in a timely and accurate manner - Collect samples and submit them for testing, ensuring compliance with laboratory procedures - Provide lab support to ensure smooth operations and efficient sample processing - Perform accurate data entry of samples, maintaining high levels of precision and attention to detail - Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve any issues or concerns related to specimen accessioning and data entry

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED is required - Experience in healthcare, preferably in a laboratory setting - Data entry experience is a must, with a strong understanding of data entry software and systems - Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
