Job Summary
As an Experienced Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. You'll be knowledgeable in all areas of the Store's business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping, and will be responsible for taking orders, coordinating activities in the Store, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate arenaflex products and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service by using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
- Provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines and recommend appropriate arenaflex products and services
- Take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
- Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
- Set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail Store
- Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
- Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability
- Stay current on retail Store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage
- Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
- Complete required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits
- Follow arenaflex standard operating procedures as well as adhere to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent education
- 6+ months of specialized experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
- Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Knowledge of printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job, and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
