Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions
- Providing expert knowledge in all areas of the retail store's business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping
- Taking orders, coordinating activities in the store, and recommending appropriate arenaflex products and services
- Operating and maintaining a wide variety of equipment, moving boxes and equipment, stocking materials, managing the production queue and output, and completing assigned tasks based on priority
- Managing complex projects, managing retail supply, and completing assigned tasks based on priority
- Providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate arenaflex products and services
- Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
- Setting up and operating printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent education
- 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
- Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
- Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members on a consistent basis
- Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction on a consistent basis
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure on a consistent basis
- Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time on a consistent basis
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on a consistent basis
- Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Knowledge of print, signs & graphics, and shipping products and services
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide training to other team members
- Ability to suggest areas for improvement in internal processes and propose possible solutions
- Ability to work with management to reduce company costs/wastes and optimize profitability in areas of responsibility
- Ability to apply Quality concepts presented at training during daily activities
- Ability to support arenaflex Quality initiatives
