As a Work-From-Home FEP Customer Service Representative in the Customer Service Center, you will be the primary customer interface for inquiries, building trust in our abilities and being the voice of the customer. Our service representatives inform and educate, serving as member advocates and delivering exceptional member experiences. Key Responsibilities
As a FEP Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Handling incoming phone calls and responding to inquiries from internal and external customers via various means of communication
- Investigating and resolving claims inquiries, ensuring proper documentation in Claims systems
- Demonstrating an understanding of applicable federal, state, and industry laws and helping ensure compliance with regulations
- Effectively communicating with cross-functional teams and external customers
- Navigating through various Claims systems
- Participating in projects, as assigned
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- High School Diploma + 2 years' experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Claims systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a customer service or claims environment
- Knowledge of FEP and health insurance regulations
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Experience with project management and coordination
