Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines and systems that support our business operations. You'll work closely with our data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines and systems that support our business operations
• Developing and deploying data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data pipeline
• Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues and errors
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering and analytics

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
• Experience with creating in a multi-cloud environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization/development
• Experience creating and maintaining automated job schedulers
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience working with huge datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
• Proficiency in cloud design and product development, ideally AWS
• Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub
• Experience using Docker
