Job Description Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide service to patients in a professional manner, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, using excellent communication skills to ensure their needs are met.
  • Learn and understand the operation of our ETM software, as well as billing and account operations.
  • Answer and document all telephone inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses to patients.
  • Research and resolve problems with patients' bills, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Update patients' insurance coverage as needed, ensuring that their information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Print courtesy claims and itemized statements, as required.
  • Rebills accounts after receiving insurance information, ensuring that patients receive the correct billing information.
  • Arrange financial agreements with patients using budget plans as needed, working closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the support they need.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as requested by our team leaders.

Qualifications / Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) required, with the ability to type and communicate simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
