Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative – Telehealth Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing empathetic and professional support during times of need. You will be responsible for gathering information from callers, relaying it to clinicians, and ensuring that patients receive the care they need. This is a rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, a patient demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and process calls from patients and their families, gathering information and relaying it to clinicians
- Provide empathetic and professional support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple calls and priorities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions
- Collaborate with clinicians to ensure that patients receive the care they need
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer care skills and stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Essential Qualifications
* 18 years of age
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Accurate keyboard and typing skills (minimum 40 wpm)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet navigation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak with a smile in your voice
- Ability to work evening, weekend shifts, and holidays (paid at time ½)
- Access to high-speed internet on a personal network (cannot be a shared network)
- Personal, private, and patient-confidential workspace environment required
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with telehealth or healthcare industry
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (a plus)
