Experienced Customer Service Associate – Insurance Policy and Billing Support (Remote)

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in handling moderate to complex inquiries, addressing various types of policies and billing inquiries from internal or external customers in an efficient, professional, and accurate manner. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve service concerns while documenting customer requests and completing changes to policies. Service to customers may include inbound/outbound calls, incoming correspondence, other communications sources, and call transfers for service transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inputs and tracks customer information into the appropriate databases.

  • Remains current on new marketing campaigns to respond appropriately to marketing-related inquiries using all available resource tools.
  • Handles requests regarding customer documentation, including all documents sent out by arenaflex, and clearly explains them, including any follow-ups required on the customer's part and updates as warranted.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of insurance policies and related processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrates accuracy in processing changes to customer policies based on the information provided and identifies opportunities for cross-sales (if applicable).
  • Employs probing questions and actively listens to customer issues or questions, showing interest and compassion, and displaying empathy for the caller's situation.
  • Ensures facilitation of first-call resolution and customer satisfaction on all transactions handled.
  • Resolves routine, complex, and unique questions/issues.

Education and Experience:

* High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

  • 0-2 years of experience (Preferred)
  • Life and Health License (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* This job does not have supervisory duties.

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation:

* Compensation offered for this role is $17.50 - 25.62 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
