Earnings Potential

As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to earn up to $20.40 per hour. With a guaranteed minimum of 45 minutes for each hour if available for the full 60 minutes, you'll be able to earn a competitive income while working on your own schedule.

Schedule

Our flexible schedule opportunities allow you to create your own schedule, working between 8 am and 8 pm CST, Monday to Friday. This means you can choose the hours that suit you best, ensuring a perfect balance between work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer support via phone, addressing questions and concerns related to bookkeeping software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software is required
  • Demonstrating bookkeeping/accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks
  • Delivering high-quality customer service, with a friendly tone and professional demeanor
  • Comfort with cross-selling relevant products while addressing customer concerns
  • Strong ownership of customer issues, taking control of the situation and providing confident resolution
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in bookkeeping software

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
  • Bookkeeping/accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks
  • Customer service experience, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Tech-savviness, with a strong understanding of computer systems and software applications
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working with multiple accounting software applications
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in bookkeeping software
  • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., QuickBooks Certified User, Certified Bookkeeper)
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Broadband internet connection, with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps
  • Wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet)
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
  • Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up-to-date
  • Wired USB headset with microphone

Important Information

Please note the following:

  • This program is only available to contractors residing in the United States, except California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
  • Contractors must successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship, with you remaining an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment.
  • arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with us.
