We're looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Project Associate, working a hybrid schedule with 2/3 days on-site and 1/3 days remote.

Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Revenue Recovery Department. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits
• Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems
• Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients
• Running and creating reports to support data analysis and decision-making
• Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team
• Scanning and indexing of documents to ensure efficient and secure storage

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 1-2 years of experience in medical records management, data entry, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with hospital patient accounting systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in revenue recovery or medical records management
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software
• Certification in medical records management or a related field (e.g., CMC, CMA)
• Experience with data analysis and reporting, particularly in a healthcare setting
