Job Summary
As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you'll work closely with our Technical Outreach teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow our cloud business. You'll collaborate with prospective clients and partners to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Your expertise will help our clients navigate the complexities of cloud computing, ensuring they get the most out of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify business and technical requirements, lead comprehensive technical discovery, and develop client solutions to meet assembled needs.
- Lead technical projects, technology support, bid responses, product and service briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
- Deliver product messaging for the arenaflex Cloud Platform through whiteboard and slide presentations, product demos, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents.
- Drive recommendations on integration strategies, project designs, platforms, and application frameworks to implement a comprehensive solution providing best-practice counsel to clients to enhance arenaflex Cloud platform effectiveness.
- Attend client sites, meetings, and other events as required.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role.
- Experience with inheritance and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and networking.
- Experience with containers, including Kubernetes and other related technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
* Dynamic US Government Top Secret/Secret Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
- Experience designing mobile structures using API management, microservice architectures, PaaS, and container orchestration frameworks, or other relevant platforms.
- Experience working with Government Public Area clients, including defense and civilian agencies.
- Knowledge of application security frameworks, including web application security, service boundary, and mobile security techniques.
- Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, philosophies, and solutions in the arenaflex Cloud/IT innovation space.
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud computing, software development, and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow our cloud business.
