About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote team, responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support to our business operations. As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with our finance team to drive process improvements, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger

• Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external partners for assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Collaborate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
• Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
• CPA certification an asset

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Accounting or related field

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with financial planning and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
