What You'll Do
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Connecting directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests
- Examining and resolving issues to determine proper solutions for clients and partner organizations, and following up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
- Completing data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex's healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Working with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
- Working with a willingness to learn and grow, and being open to feedback and development in a culture of continuous improvement
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (and occasionally other channels on a case-by-case basis) with various topics, primarily using our internal program and systems to explore solutions and record client note accounts, requiring attention to detail
- Expecting a significant portion of the typical business day to be spent on outbound veterinary center/client telephone contacts
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience working in a client or healthcare-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to maintain a Pharmacy Professional License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (where applicable)
- Strong decision-making skills
- Proven ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change as per the business needs of the organization
- Flexibility to adjust your schedule and stay at work longer than required depending on the situation by the specialty unit
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive data
- Ability to pass a background check
