Job Summary

As an Experienced Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing advocate care to assist members with a clear path to care, claims understanding, and resolution. You will educate members on online resources, guide them through their plan of benefits, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Your emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and ability to build trusting relationships will be essential in creating a positive and supportive experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities

* Guides members through their plan of benefits, Aetna policy, and procedures, as well as providing knowledge of resources to comply with regulatory guidelines

  • Creates an emotional connection with members by understanding and engaging them to the fullest, championing for their best health
  • Takes accountability to fully understand members' needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with them
  • Anticipates customer needs and performs review of member claim history to ensure accurate tracking of benefit maximums and/or coinsurance/deductible
  • Performs financial data maintenance as necessary
  • Explains members' rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract

Essential Qualifications

* 1-3 years of customer service experience within a call center atmosphere

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
  • Previous behavioral health experience or medical/insurance background a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a behavioral health setting

  • Medical or insurance background
  • Associate's degree or higher

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • Base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary: $17.00 - $28.46
