Job Functions

As an Experienced Retail Customer Service Cashier, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Ensuring proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products using a variety of methods and technology.
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment by cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross-training in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles, to expand your skills and knowledge.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds, and work in various temperatures.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures

* Previous retail or food service experience

• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with technology
