Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with our community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos to provide an exceptional user experience
  • Collaborating with the support team to troubleshoot issues, resolve customer complaints, and provide proactive support to prevent potential problems
  • Working cross-functionally with our development team to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the evolution of our platform
  • Developing a deep understanding of our platform and its features to provide accurate and informed support to our users
  • Maintaining a positive and delightful day-to-day experience for every user leveraging the platform for their supply ordering needs
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience, preferably in a tech or start-up environment
  • A 2-year Associate's Degree or 4-year College Degree in a related field (e.g., communications, business, or computer science)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in chat support or a similar customer-facing role is strongly preferred
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations, with a strong desire to help our customers succeed
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities in a fast-paced, team environment
  • A positive attitude, one-for-all team mentality, and excellent collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with intercom or other chat platforms
  • Tech or start-up work experience, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends
  • Familiarity with veterinary medicine or a related field is a plus, but not required
